DMCA and takedowns

Content stolen from performers is the reason this page exists rather than a form letter. We act on notices quickly and we do not charge performers to send them.

Reporting content hosted here

Send a notice to dmca@fandom.xxx containing:

  • Your signature, electronic is fine.
  • What the work is, and where the original lives.
  • The exact URL on fandom.xxx you are reporting.
  • Your contact details.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

What happens then

Valid notices are actioned within one business day, usually much sooner. The account holder is told what was removed and why, and can file a counter-notice. Accounts that collect repeat notices are closed.

Sending notices about your own work elsewhere

Every account includes the takedown tool: it generates a correctly formed notice from your page's content, files it with the host or the search engine, and keeps a log of what went where and when. It is part of the annual fee, not an add-on.
